It hold 2 40Ds, a 70-200Lf/2.8IS, 24-70L, 18-55f/2.8IS, 2 580exIIs batteries cards and other accessories. I shoot weddings and it carries it all. Just stands and umbrellas in my other case and I'm set. It's lightweight and comfortable. I suppose you could use this as a hiking backpack but that's not really what it is. There isn't anywhere specific to put non camera gear items, so if you're looking for a backpacking/camera gear bag, this isn't it. If you need to more your gear and keep your hands free this is ideal. I'm very happy with the quality of Think Tank too, and would buy this brand again.Adorama fulfilled this order just fine, however I will not purchase anything from them again after a very bad experience buying the 18-55 f/2.8IS from them. For example, I bought a bag through the mail that came highly recommended by a world famous travel photographer - it even had his name on it. I tried it a couple of times and now it sits in the bottom of my closet, unused and unloved. I didn't make that mistake with the Think Tank Airport Ultralight. I saw it at a camera show in NYC and after a half hour fiddling with it, zipping the zippers, moving the dividers and estimating whether my gear would fit, I made the decision to buy the bag on the spot.I have had this bag for about a year and it's held up very well. The fabric, interior and exterior, shows no wear. The zippers, handles and pouches are all like new. (Electronics) This is my extreme camera bag when I carry the mother load, typically I use a smaller Kata KT D-3N1-20. It distribute the load very well, where you don't feel the weight as much. Compared to a my laptop bag. Also it doesn't have the fat shoulder straps you see in most bags nor padding in the back area for air flow. It is basically a rectangle. I got this to carry my 70-200mm lens, it can be attach to the camera or it can have it owns compartment. I would not carry anymore load on my back then this bag.
