Good trigger speed for money, October 6, 2011 By  E. Tucker "wolfridgeil" (Yorkville IL) - See all my reviews    This review is from: DLC Covert CA 3.0 Camouflage Infrared Photo Video Camera (Misc.) Trigger speed definitely lives up to claim. However detection distance is only about 30 ft and IR exposure range is very centralized out to that distance (night photos are ringed in black). I'd estimate detection range at 15 deg from center. In dark environment, the red flash of IR exposure can be seen and a audible click can be heard. The click and red flash (which lasts for a few seconds) could alert thieves if that is how you plan to use it. Easy to program, somewhat hard to remove SD card and difficult to toggle power switch but no big deal. Inexpensive choice as trail scout to monitor bottlenecks vs a food plot monitor.
