This review is from: Swann Alpha C8 SWA31-C8 Day / Night CCD Weather Resistant Security Camera (Electronics) I have 4 Swann Alpha C8's on my surveillance dvr. The night vision is about 60 feet, give or take. The night vision is not all that great, every thing was still too dark. With the help of the 98 led infrared spot lights, no dark spots in my front yard with a clear pic. This review is from: Swann Alpha C8 SWA31-C8 Day / Night CCD Weather Resistant Security Camera (Electronics) I installed several of these around my house and they have worked very well for me so far. They were installed about 7 months ago and provide great resolution during the day, good to average during the night depending on outside lighting conditions. If you have lights outside and leave them on all night, the camera looks almost like it is day light, only in black and white. Night vision is only in black and white, and you will not find one that is not anywhere near this price point. Camera has been through the summer heat upwards of 100 degrees, wind, and rain storms, 20 degree winter. No issues or problems. Great camera for the price.
