I have spent over $500 for cameras and this camera beats them hands down. It is compact, long battery life, night vision, video viewer and 2G flash card holds hundreds of photos. I have 2 of them out in the timber and I am getting over 700 photos one each one in 3 weeks. The quality of photos is great. Changed my original 3 star rating to five stars (reason for 3 stars was failed camera, but replacement is great!)...Purchased this camera at the end of September. Received about a week later. The camera was simple to use and set up and a compact size. The main reason for a subdued rating was that the camera only lasted a week before it died. When it failed, the LEDS would show that I was putting it in setup, but the screen would not work. Or, the LEDs would show I put it in run mode, but it would not take any pictures. I was satisfied enough with the camera before it died that I have sent it back for a replacement, rather than a refund (just today 10/08/2010). I should first note that the camera label shows it as a 5M camera, but the description says it will take 3, 5 and 8M pictures. Was a bit confusing for me, but the camera did take up to 8M pics. As... Because of my concerns, I passed up bargain-basement pricing from another vendor and purchased from Amazon. Amazon pricing was competitive, and I know that they stand behind what they sell.When the camera arrived, I found it easy to understand, set up and use. However, on normal sensitivity, it never took any pictures. On high sensitivity, it took many pictures of nothing. Other than this issue, I really liked the camera. After the batteries completely drained in one night when it captured hundreds of videos of empty space, I decided to exchange it. I was happy with my decision to go with Amazon, as they made the exchange easy, and covered shipping both ways. When the new camera arrived, it worked perfectly.
