I bought this camera to watch who is coming to my front door. It's virtually no set up, just plug it into your TV and go! You can also connect it to your computer if you have a DVR card.

This camera sees clearly the whole front yard, plus accross the street.Way better then I thought it would be. I can see clear who is outside, in my front door, even at night. The camera has IR lights to see at night, in black and white. This camera is inexpensive, but works great. It deserves the best rating. I could not have been happier.

I bought a DVR system from somewhere else that came with bullet style daytime color/black&white night vision cameras. But the camera angel was not wide enough for the area I wanted coverage on. This camera was my answer. It covered the entire front yard from a high point on a single story home. The video footage is on par or slightly less that that of a standard video camera. Plus the viewing quality was much better that the cameras the DVR system came with (again I did not buy the DVR System at Amazon). Which to me is perfect for the average single story budget strapped homeowner. I like how the housing covers the wiring to prevent someone tampering with it. It is much less noticeable than the bullet style. You can even paint the housing to match your house color. Overall I was happy with the camera's performance & price that I bought another one.

You might need extra cables or adapters depending on your setup & use. I ended up needing a male BNC to Female Video RCA... Read more

This video was taken with a Kodak EasyShare DX4530 5MP Digital Camera w/ 3x Optical Zoom aimed at my Insignia HD LCD TV that is projecting the images from the Instapark 1.2GHZ Hidden Mini Pinhole Nanny / Spy Wireless Color Video Camera with Microphone.. The "Beeping" sound is from a Driveway Patrol Sensor and Receiver Kit that I have mounted inside a feeder........... Yes I live a boring life :)

BTW, The video did lose about 10% clarity from being taken with the Kodak from the TV.

Camera is small and discrete. It works great and the picture and sound is acceptable. The downside is that the camera eats up 9V batteries when you use wirelessly and the camera and receiver cannot be too far apart or you will lose the signal. Also on the signal, there is intermittent static and distortion at certain times and if the camera and receiver are placed too far apart.

I just received my camera today and was impresses with the color quality.... not so much the sound and low lit environments. Great deal for the price though. Just make sure you have a good supply of 9volt batteries on hand because the camera powers through them pretty quick, but for the overall performance that is alright with me. Good buy!

We have installed this camera and the clarity in the day and even at night has been great! A picture is worth a thousand words! The night time led lights are abundant and gives a very respectful total darkness picture. None of the other cameras I have owned had as many Leds as this one. We've had seriously hot temps, fog, rain, and even storms and everything is well. It is weatherproof, it is very great in the long run. This camera is definitely superior over all others I've seen in both price and quality. I highly recommend it.

Very good camera. color is okay.night time under street light is okay. how ever see a glare on the picture.don't know any type of plastic protection on it, will look again. if it is will take out and check again. If still glare that is the only complaint so far.wish it was black in color.focusing and wide angle adjustment really don't do much.comparing to other camera i have this one in not bad for the money. Giving a 4 star
